OUR STORY

Built for Families
Who Honour Their Own.

HonouredPages was created for the communities that understand the sacred weight of legacy - families who know that a life well-lived deserves more than a few days of flowers and a printed programme.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

Every life deserves
to be remembered.

HonouredPages was built by Baulin Technologies, a UK technology company founded by a Ghanaian technologist who grew up watching families pour everything they had into honouring their loved ones - elaborate home-going celebrations, beautifully printed programmes, communities gathering from across the world, and then watching all of it disappear.

The programmes ended up in drawers. The photographs stayed on phones. The tributes that were spoken at the service were never written down. Within a few years, the digital trace of a person who meant everything to their family had shrunk to a few Facebook posts and a name on a headstone.

We built HonouredPages because we believe families deserve better. Not just a basic obituary page. A permanent, beautiful, living record - the kind that future generations can actually find, explore, and feel connected to.

We built it specifically for Ghanaian, Nigerian, Caribbean, and wider African diaspora communities in the UK, Ghana, Nigeria, the United States, and beyond - communities whose rich funeral traditions and deep sense of family legacy have never had a digital home worthy of them.

This is that home.

THE COMPANY

A small team. A very clear mission.

HonouredPages is a product of Baulin Technologies Limited, a technology company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17092368). We are a lean, focused team building digital products that serve real communities with real needs.

We are not a large corporation. We are builders who care deeply about the communities we serve - and we believe that closeness to our users is our greatest strength.

Every feature on HonouredPages was designed with a specific family in mind. The searchable hymnal database exists because Ghanaian families spend hours hunting through physical hymnbooks trying to remember a number. The family tree exists because diaspora families are spread across continents and deserve a way to stay connected across generations. The YouTube video integration exists because a family should never have to compress and upload a video at the worst moment of their lives.

We build what we would want to use.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

The principles behind every decision we make.

Honour

We believe every person who has lived deserves to be remembered beautifully. Not just the famous or the wealthy - every life, every family, every community.

Cultural Pride

We built HonouredPages with and for diaspora communities who have always honoured their loved ones with extraordinary care. We do not adapt a generic product for these communities - we build for them from the ground up.

Permanence

A memorial should last longer than a social media post. We are committed to keeping every HonouredPages memorial online permanently - so that a great-grandchild born twenty years from now can still find their ancestor's story.

Privacy and Trust

Families trust us with their most precious memories and the records of people they love. We handle that trust with the seriousness it deserves - transparent policies, no advertising, no selling of data, ever.

OUR COMMUNITIES

Built with communities that know
how to honour a life.

WHERE WE ARE

A platform built to last.

HonouredPages launched in 2026 as a product of Baulin Technologies Limited. From the beginning, we focused on building something that families would be proud to share - not just functional, but genuinely beautiful.

We built the searchable hymnal database from scratch, covering Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican, Catholic, Adventist, Baptist, and Pentecostal traditions. We built the family tree feature so that legacies could connect across generations. We built the AI biography writer so that families who struggle to find words in the hardest moments do not have to find them alone.

We are early in our journey. But we are building with intention, with community, and with the long term in mind.

If you are a funeral home, church, or community organisation interested in working with us, we would love to hear from you.

Questions we are often asked.

Who built HonouredPages?
HonouredPages was built by Baulin Technologies Limited, a technology company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17092368). We are a small, focused team with deep ties to Ghanaian, Nigerian, and wider African diaspora communities in the UK and internationally.
Is HonouredPages free to use?
Yes - anyone can create a free memorial page with no time limit. Our free plan includes one memorial page, up to 10 photos, and a public tribute wall. Premium and Lifetime plans are available for families who want expanded features including unlimited media, QR code downloads, AI biography writing, and more.
What happens to a memorial if HonouredPages shuts down?
We are committed to keeping all memorial pages online permanently. In the event of service discontinuation, we commit to providing a minimum of six months notice and a full export of all memorial content - photos, biographies, tributes, and all associated data - in a standard format that families can keep forever. This commitment is written into our Terms of Service.
Is HonouredPages only for African and diaspora families?
Not at all. HonouredPages is open to and welcoming of all families everywhere. We were built with African diaspora communities in mind because no other platform was, but our platform serves families of all backgrounds and traditions.
How is HonouredPages different from other memorial platforms?
Most memorial platforms were built for a generic Western audience. HonouredPages was built specifically for communities with rich funeral traditions - searchable hymnal databases covering Ghanaian, Nigerian, and Caribbean church traditions, family tree linking across generations, culturally informed design and copy, and a team that understands what honouring a loved one truly means in these communities.
Is my family's data safe?
Yes. We comply fully with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We never sell personal data to third parties. We never show advertising on memorial pages. Your family's memories are private, secure, and yours.
