Tribute from the Grandchildren

Grandma,

It is difficult to accept that you are no longer with us. You were more than our grandmother. You were our safe place, our biggest supporter, and one of the kindest people we have ever known.

Whenever we visited you, you welcomed us with joy and made us feel loved. Your warm smile, gentle hugs, and caring words always reminded us that family is one of God's greatest blessings. You were patient with us, listened to our stories, and always encouraged us to do what was right.

One of the greatest gifts you gave us was your example of faith. We watched you trust God through every season of life, and your commitment to prayer and worship has left a lasting impression on us. You taught us, not only through your words but through the way you lived, that kindness, humility, and love are qualities worth holding on to.

Although our hearts are filled with sadness, we are thankful for the precious memories we shared with you. We will always remember your laughter, your gentle spirit, your wise advice, and the unconditional love you showed to each one of us. Those memories will remain with us for the rest of our lives.

Grandma, thank you for believing in us, praying for us, and loving us so completely. We promise to honour your memory by living lives that would make you proud and by holding on to the values you passed on to our family.

Sleep peacefully in the presence of the Lord, dear Grandma. We will miss you every day, but we are comforted by the hope that one day, by God's grace, we shall meet again.
