Tribute from the Children

Mummy,
Writing this tribute is one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. We never imagined a day would come when we would have to speak about you in the past tense.
To us, you were simply "Mummy", the one who always wanted to know whether we had eaten, whether we had arrived safely, and whether everything was going well. No matter how old we became, we were always your children, and you never stopped caring for us.
You taught us lessons that no classroom could ever teach. You showed us that kindness costs nothing, that honesty is worth protecting, and that faith in God can carry a person through life's greatest storms. You worked quietly, gave generously, and never expected praise in return. Looking back now, we realise how much of yourself you gave so that we could have a better life.
Our hearts ache because we will miss the little things most people never notice: the sound of your voice calling our names, your gentle advice when we were troubled, your prayers over us, and the warmth that filled every place you were. Those moments seemed ordinary then, but today they have become priceless memories.
Though we wish we had more time with you, we are grateful to God for the years He blessed us with. We choose not only to mourn your passing but also to celebrate the beautiful life you lived and the values you planted in us. Those values will remain with us, and, by God's grace, will be passed on to our children.
Sleep peacefully, dear Mummy. Your love has shaped our lives in ways words can never fully describe. We will carry you in our hearts for the rest of our days, and we will honour your memory by living the life you encouraged us to live.
Until we meet again, thank you for everything.
With all our love,
Your Children, Akos & Emma
Sincerely,
Akos & Emma
